House & TTNatalie

Here's the house & Kitchen (ideas on paint colors?) and a pic of Natalie in her cute TTU outfit!

News

We closed on our house!!!! This weekend we will all stay in it (on air mattresses & play pens)...but by golly we have a house! The kids & I will travel to Childress most weekends until we "officially" move after the school year.

Natalie, Cole & I have been sick for about 3 weeks. I guess it is allergy induced...but it even spread to David and Linda (Justin's parents). I think the sickness is on it's way out. Cole & Nat are on allergy medicine (Claritin & Zyrtec) & I am on another round of antibiotics and Flonase.

Cole is becoming VERY independent & with that comes a really moody boy!!! He is talking so much more & just so funny!!! We laugh all evening! He still only eats bologna sandwiches.

Natalie is just getting sooooo big! I've been putting bows in her hair more regularly & she just looks so cute! She wakes up at night (1 full night of sleep in the past month) at least once per night. She's eating a ton. She absolutely ADORES her best friend, Cole. It is the sweetest thing to see that sibling bond. She doesn't even mind the occasional hit or shove from him. He "reads" to her & they just laugh at each other.

Only 5 more weeks of school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't WAIT!

Thomas the Train and Easter!

Easter weekend was spent in Lubbock for the Pierces!!!
It all started on Saturday with Cole going to ride on.....THOMAS THE TRAIN!!! He LOVED it...being Thomas's biggest fan and all. He rode with Grandpa and Grandma. Apparantly Grandpa had a great time too! It was soooooo cold so Jessica, Natalie and I stayed in the car. The ride was 25minutes and very cool. Cole got a "junior conductor" shirt and a new train engine, "James". He has been "telling" us all about it ever since!

Easter Sunday was spent going to church in Slaton and at Granny's house. Natalie looked really cute in her dress. Cole looked soooo handsome in his new shirt!! He was a NAUGHTY boy in church though...so I was in a bad mood.

We had a great time and can't wait to go back to Lubbock & visit with everyone again!!

Ready to leave

I have never been so ready to be DONE teaching or LEAVING vernon. An 8th grade class stole a teaching tool I use (a carved mayan skull). I got it on my honeymoon in Mexico.

The youth of Vernon concerns me. I'm glad to be leaving.

(keep in mind i'm sick and really mad right now)

Sick and homeless

Just a quick update.

Me and the kids are living with Justin's parents until The end of May. Natalie and I in the same room, cole in his own.

Cole and Natalie both have double ear infections. I feel like I do also.

Justin is with us 2-3 nights a week. We got a house. Cute 3 bedroom, 1.75 bath, 2 car garage. Great potential...kind of small.
